It’s been a life dedicated to the Beautiful Game for Moklan Namchoom. Back in his hometown in Namsai district after a stint with the very popular Gunners in London. he coaches players while looking at new ways to develop the training infrastructure. “The players whom I am coaching should (be able to) play in top division teams or leagues in any country,” he says candidly.
Moklan is developing an institute where he envisages training local players on a par with international standards. Having completed a course from the Abhijit Kadam Football Development Centre in Pune and acquired a coaching license, Moklan then moved to the UK to attain a diploma in coaching

He is developing an institute where he envisages training local players on a par with international standards. “Attention to detail in planning and execution, the importance of health and safety. Mostly along with key technical know-how on and off the field, are all crucial aspects of football coaching,” he explains. “I am trying to transfer my professional knowledge onto the field while I train players today.”
Moklan has been reinforcing his football skills all his life. Having been part of the winning team in several schools, college, and district football tournaments, Moklan ventured into coaching next. In 2010, he completed a course from the Abhijit Kadam Football Development Centre in Pune and acquired a coaching license. Moklan then moved to the UK to attain a diploma in coaching. He spent three years there, even working with the prestigious Arsenal Football Club. Three times champions of the English Premier League.
